1. Introduction
DoJob ("we", "our", or "the app") is a mobile application that connects clients to service providers. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our app, available for Android and iOS devices.
By using DoJob, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, we recommend that you do not use the app.
2. Data we collect
2.1. Data you provide
- Account data: full name, email, password, phone number, date of birth, gender
- Professional profile: service categories, profession, description, experience
- Identity verification: photo of an identity document (e.g., national ID, driver’s license, or passport) and a selfie holding the document
- Profile photo: optional image you choose
- Reviews and comments: ratings and texts about completed services
- Problem reports: bug descriptions, screenshots, and technical device information
2.2. Data collected automatically
- Location: GPS coordinates (latitude and longitude), city, state, and country, collected with your permission to show nearby services
- Device data: operating system, version, device model, configured language
- Notification identifier: code used exclusively to deliver alerts to your device
Important: DoJob does not have an internal messaging system. No communication between users is stored or monitored by the app.
3. Purpose of data use

4. Legal basis for processing (Brazil LGPD)
We process your personal data based on the legal grounds provided in the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (Lei nº 13.709/2018 - LGPD), including:
- Consent (art. 7, I): for location collection, identity verification, and push notifications
- Contract performance (art. 7, V): to provide the app’s services (account creation, client-provider connection)
- Legitimate interests (art. 7, IX): to improve the app, analyze usage, and enhance safety
- Legitimate interests / exercise of rights: minimal identifier retention after account deletion (section 8) to prevent fraud, respond to reports, and protect users, respecting proportionality
5. Data sharing
DoJob does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. Your data may be shared only in these situations:
- Between users: public profile information (name, photo, reviews, profession) can be visible to other users when showing interest in services
- Infrastructure providers: reputable technology companies that host and process data to operate the app
- Legal obligation: when required by law, regulation, or court order
6. Third-party services
To operate the app, we use cloud infrastructure and services from established providers. Key categories include:
- Cloud infrastructure: data storage, processing, and content delivery
- Authentication: secure access to user accounts
- Notifications: delivering alerts and notices to the device
- Maps and location: showing nearby services and geographic search

7. Storage and security
Your data is stored on cloud servers hosted in data centers with internationally recognized security certifications. We adopt measures such as:
- Encryption in transit and at rest
- Restricted access control for authenticated users
- Appropriate protection for credentials and sensitive information
- Monitoring and auditing of system access
Technical implementation details are not publicly disclosed for operational security reasons.
8. Data retention
Your personal data is retained while your account is active. In particular:
- Account data: kept while the account exists
- Reviews: kept indefinitely as part of the platform history
- Verification documents: kept while verification is active
- Bug reports: kept for up to 12 months for diagnostics
- After account deletion: the profile and most data associated with the active account are removed from the app; anonymized data for statistics and already-published reviews may be kept in anonymized form when applicable
8.1. Temporary identifier archive after account deletion
When you close your account (in-app or via a support request), we may keep, for up to 90 (ninety) days from the deletion date, a restricted technical record containing only identifiers needed to operate the platform safely, such as: a prior technical account identifier, the email used for registration, phone numbers linked to the profile (client and/or provider, if present), and the name associated with the profile.
Purposes include fraud and abuse prevention, support for reports and internal investigations, compliance with legal obligations, and responses to legitimate authority requests when applicable. Access to these records is restricted and is not the same as any commercial use of your profile in the app.
After the 90-day period, these records are automatically deleted, unless a different retention period is required by law or a competent order.
9. Your rights
In accordance with the LGPD and international regulations, you have the right to:
- Access: know what personal data we have about you
- Correction: update incorrect or outdated data
- Deletion: request deletion of your account and personal data
- Portability: request a copy of your data in a structured format
- Withdraw consent: revoke granted permissions (location, notifications)
- Object: challenge processing based on legitimate interests
To exercise your rights, contact us at appdojob@gmail.com. If your account uses email-and-password login, you can request deletion directly in Settings > Delete my account in the app; otherwise, use email support.
10. Minors
DoJob is not intended for minors under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children or teenagers. If we become aware that we collected data from a minor, we will take steps to delete it immediately.
11. International transfers
Part of the infrastructure we use is located outside Brazil. International transfers follow appropriate safeguards, including contractual clauses and technical security measures, as applicable.
12. Cookies and similar technologies
The DoJob app does not use cookies. Our institutional website may use essential technical cookies for functionality. We do not use third-party tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes may be communicated through:
- Push notification in the app
- Notice on the app home screen
- Update of the “last updated” date on this page

15. Terms of Use
15.1. Acceptance
By registering and using DoJob, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
15.2. Service nature – We are intermediaries only
DoJob is exclusively an intermediary platform that helps connect those who need services with those who offer services. We clarify that:
- We do not provide services: DoJob does not perform, execute, or take responsibility for any professional service. We only connect people.
- No employment or contractual relationship: we are not an employer, labor intermediary, or party to any service contract between users.
- Negotiation and payment are between users: any price, payment method, schedule, and conditions are negotiated and carried out directly between client and provider. DoJob does not participate, intervene, or access these transactions.
- No interference with execution: service quality, fulfillment, satisfaction, and any issues are the sole responsibility of the involved users.
In summary: DoJob helps people find clients and professionals. What happens between them — good or bad execution, payment, complaints — is their exclusive responsibility. We are not responsible for the service outcome.
15.3. User responsibilities
- Provide truthful and up-to-date information
- Keep your account secure (do not share your password)
- Do not use the app for illegal, fraudulent, or abusive activities
- Respect other users and treat everyone with courtesy
- Do not post offensive, discriminatory, or illegal content in reviews
- No sexual/adult content: it is strictly prohibited to publish, send, request, or associate with DoJob any content containing nudity, pornography, sexual acts, sexual exploitation, sexual harassment, sexual content involving minors, or any explicit/suggestive sexual content in profile photos, portfolios, identity verification documents, descriptions, reviews, or attachments. Violations result in immediate ban and content removal, without prior notice.
15.4. Catira system (service exchange)
The Catira system allows providers to exchange services without financial involvement. DoJob facilitates the connection but does not guarantee quality or completion. Negotiations are the sole responsibility of the involved users.
15.5. Plans and subscriptions
DoJob offers free and premium plans. Premium plans may include benefits such as a larger notification radius and more daily interactions. Details and pricing are displayed in the app.
15.6. Suspension and termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:
- Violate these terms or the privacy policy
- Show fraudulent or abusive behavior
- Use false information during registration or verification
- Publish or attempt to publish sexual/adult content (including nudity) anywhere on the platform, which may result in immediate ban and, when applicable, reporting to competent authorities.
15.7. Limitation of liability
DoJob is provided “as is”. We are not responsible for:
- Services performed: quality, safety, legality, fulfillment, or result of any service agreed between users
- Financial transactions: amounts, payments, refunds, or charges carried out outside the platform
- User disputes: conflicts, complaints, or litigation arising from client-provider relationships
- App availability: interruptions, technical errors, or temporary downtime
By using DoJob, you acknowledge that you release us from liability for direct or indirect damages arising from services, negotiations, or payments carried out between users. Complaints about service quality should be directed to the involved provider or client.
15.8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent consumer forum, as applicable.
